Look Incredible Deluxe Box, January 2017.

It's been a whole year of beauty boxes for me now, having received my first last january. My make up collection has grown impressively and it's in large part to the subscriptions I've signed up for over the last 12 months.

Currently, the only box I'm still subbed to is the Look Incredible Deluxe box which costs £35 a month. All the products are full size and the value of this month's box is £91.99 so you definitely get value for money even though it's one of the more pricier beauty boxes available in the UK.

Too Faced Soul Mates Blushing Bronzer in Carrie & Big (RRP £28)
I love this bronzer and I know that for a fact as I already own it! I got this in a Cohorted box about a year ago and it definitely doesn't look as pristine as the one in the photo above. Being so pale, I was always a bit wary of using bronzers so this was my first (and still only) bronzer. I'll be passing this along to someone who can give it a good home in their collection.

Clinique Lash Power Feathering Mascara in Onyx Black (RRP £18.99)
I haven't tried much Clinique makeup before so I'm interested to see how this makes my lashes look. I'm working through so many mascaras at the moments so I'll be saving this til I've used some others up.

Lorac Pro Powder Cheek Stain in Coral Crush (RRP £21)
I haven't tried any Lorac products before so this is exciting. I was wary when I saw the box and saw cheek stain, as I thought it would be a liquid but this seems to be a normal powder blush. It's more pink that I thought it would be, going on the shade name but I'll definitely get a lot of use out of this.

Bee Good Honey & Wild Water Mint 3 in 1 Cleansing Water (RRP £10)
If only this box had arrived a few days earlier! I've only just bought a new bottle of Garnier micellar water (the new 700ml size!) so I'm all set for a while. This doesn't have much a scent which surprised me given the name. I might save this for travelling as the bottle is smaller than Garnier's.

Eucerin Even Brighter Concentrate (RRP £14)
These seem to be sold in a pack of 3 for £28 so the RRP that Look Incredible have stated is wrong seeing as we only got one in the box! I probably won't use this if I'm being honest, I wish Look Incredible had included something else instead of this.

What do you think to this month's offering?

What I've Been Reading: December 2016.

These are the last 2 books in the New England Witch Chronicles, a series I started in November. I really enjoyed this series so I'll have to look into other series by Chelsea Luna. You can read about the first 2 books in the series in last month's post.

Jennifer Armentrout is one of my favourite authors so I soon as I delved into this, I knew it wouldn't take me long to finish it. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just reccommend the hell out of this book! Mallory and Rider's story will stay with you long after you've finished reading.

This was the first book I'd ready by Colleen Hoover and I didn't love it like everyone else seems too. I'm in the minority as reviews on Goodreads really praise it. I wasn't invested in Layken and Will's relationship the way I should have been, it just didn't pull me in. I was more interested in the relationship of Layken and her mum, I found those parts of the story heartbreaking but that's what saved the book for me.

I'm torn on this book. I enjoyed it but really disliked one of the main characters. The book focuses on Holland and her relationship with Cece. It was a quick read but it fell flat for me. Part of that was because of Cece, who really grated on my nerves.

This is the most recently released out of all the books I read last month. It only came out in December but it's had amazing reviews so far and all the reviews were really vague on what the book is actually about. The author herself says it best to read the book with an open mind and without reading any spoilers and I 100% agree. I started reading the book with an idea of what I thought it would be about but I wasn't even close. Honestly, this book is amazing and is one I'll remember for years to come. Hands down, the best book I read last month.
